Students provide makeup service Bookmark and Share
July 2nd, 2010

Two Cosmetology Training Center students, Julia Roberts and Sarah Barna, spent four long days providing makeup service for a promotional video shoot.

The video will be used for promoting the Minnesota State University, Mankato Aviation Program.

Through the four day shoot directed by Matt Wiechmann, Julia and Sarah worked with numerous techniques, colors, and styles.

This video shoot was great real world experience for these two amazing students,

Hanska's 2010 Syttende Mai Celebration

The Cosmetology Training Center's students did the hair and makeup for the performers each night at the Crusin'thru Dreamland Performance.  This gives our students great experience to do hair and makeup for plays, pageants, etc.  They get a chance to see behind the scenes.

This celebration is held every May in Hanska to celebrate the Norwegian Heritage.

Kids Against Hunger Bookmark and Share
March 10th, 2009

Kids Against Hunger is a non-profitable organization whose mission is to provide fully nutrious food to impoverished children around the world. Instructors and students from CTC helped package food kits to send to those in need. It is important to the instructors at CTC, to emphasize to their students the many ways they can make a difference in the world around them.
